A rain drop hangs off a trail marker for the Rainy Day Trail in Battle Park in Chapel Hill, NC, on Apr. 5, 2022. The Rainy Day trail is one of the easiest and shortest trails in the park, twisting from the general entrance to a creek and back.
Alice McCracken Knight, 19, re-hangs a drill in the Student Union maintenance shop in Chapel Hill, NC, on Mar. 25, 2022. They do this job as a work-study position in addition to her major in communications with a concentration in performance studies.
UNC Catalyst attendees examine the Unsung Founders memorial on the McCorkle Place quad in Chapel Hill, NC, on Feb. 26, 2022. There is a cage surrounding the memorial because of racist threats toward and vandalism of the memorial which recognizes the enslaved people who built most of North Campus.
